Napa Valley · Appellation
Oak Knoll District
Designated in 2004, Oak Knoll District lies on the valley floor just north of Napa city, directly in the path of daily bay fog that keeps it among the valley's coolest, flattest appellations. More than 20 loam and clay soil types support an unusually broad range of grapes — from Riesling and Albariño to Merlot and old-vine Zinfandel — a versatility few other Napa sub-AVAs can claim.
